Forum: lendinglibrary Subject: E_STREAM_ERROR

In another thread I mentioned having received this error message:

Unable to download
Error getting License. Server Communication Problem: E_STREAM_ERROR:

When this happens, the book stays signed out to the user, but because the file doesn't actually read into Adobe Digital Editions, there's no way to check it back in. This happened early this morning with the following titles:

http://openlibrary.org/books/OL6319020M
http://openlibrary.org/books/OL25336301M

and now the loans won't expire automatically until August 27, so they'll be unusable to anyone for two weeks.

Is it possible an administrator could override the checkout so I can try to download them again? Or better yet, is there any way the Internet Archive could add the option for a user to expire their own login outside of Adobe Digital Editions?
